I get asked this question a lot, “what is user experience?”

Here’s my condensed answer:

business & user requirements drive content & user requirements drives content & functionality equals user experience

UX involves distilling all the background research (analytics, market data, business & user requirements) in order to package the necessary content in an organized & easy to understand format.
