Portfolio Piece: Math Matters

Description

This is a website created for a fictional advocacy group called Math Matters. Math Matters aims to maintain high math literacy in BC by promoting the necessity of a fundamentally sound school mathematics curriculum. The primary goal of the site is to raise awareness to parents in BC about problems associated with the new Math curriculum. The secondary goal is to encourage parents to be vocal against the Math reform.

The website uses an informative, but serious tone. Since the issue is the primary focus, the site is kept very simple. Pastel red, blue and yellow is used to highlight important content and to separate the three main areas of the site.
