Portfolio Piece: Kawaii Bento

Description

This is a logo design and site mockup for a fictional specialty restaurant created as a part of the Vector Graphics Course requirements at Capilano University’s Interactive Design Program.

Kawaii Bento (meaning “cute lunchboxes” in Japanese) provides visual appealing gourmet lunchboxes for customers on-the-go. As such, the logo and website were designed to be whimsical yet refined.

A one-page layout was chosen because there is limited content that needs to be shown on a restaurant website. Site visitors will also need to quickly find what they need. The navigation tab is meant to be stationary while the rest of the page scrolls.
